Where do I put the wheels after I remove them?

Your TAKE OFF luggage comes with a small bag to carry your wheels after they’re removed. You can put this bag inside your luggage or in your pockets while you travel.

How do you remove the wheels?

Simply squeeze 2 yellow tabs, and pull wheel away from base.

How to put wheels back on?

Push wheel onto wheel base until a click, and the 2 yellow tabs are locked into wheel openings.

How many days of clothes fit?

The Personal Item suitcase can fit 3-5 days of clothing. We recommend rolling your clothes or using our Vacuum Seal Bags and Mini Pump to increase packing potential. Also wear bulky or heavy items.

What happens if I lose a wheel(s)?

If you lose a wheel(s), you can order a replacement set from our website https://takeoffluggage.com

Do I take the wheels off before approaching the gate or can I remove them in front of the gate agent?

We recommend removing the wheels before joining the boarding line to avoid any potential conflict with gate agents.

Do I put the wheels back on after sizing or not until I exit the plane?

Since personal items must be stored beneath the seat in front of you, we recommend leaving the wheels off until you exit the aircraft.

How long does shipping take? 

US (48 Contiguous U.S. States) Please allow up to 3 business days for order processing.

Please allow an additional 3-7 business days for orders to arrive after processing. We will email you with a tracking number when your order is dispatched. 

For US holidays and promotional periods, please allow up to 5 business days for order processing due to high order volume.

International Shipping transit times are between 1-3 weeks.

What is your return policy?

More Travel. Less Fees. Is our motto, and avoiding costly baggage fees is our mission. We made the perfect (well in our minds, LOL) personal item suitcase, and we want you to see it for yourself.  But for any reason you are not happy, you have 30 Days to return or exchange unused items after purchase. 

We are only able to accept returns on unused items, so please gently test your products at home before traveling with them

Does my TAKE OFF Luggage come with a warranty?

Our suitcases have a limited 1 year warranty that covers any functional damage to the shell, wheels, handles, zippers, or anything else that impairs the use of the luggage.

Get in touch about the warranty by submitting a warranty claim or by emailing proof of purchase (order number/receipt) and pictures/videos of the issue you are experiencing at support@takeoffluggage.com.

How do I unlock the suitcase?

Set the code to 0-0-0 and press up on the black release lever and the suitcase will open.

How do I set a new code for the lock?

We would advise being very careful when setting a new combination code. Once a new combination code is set, the original 0-0-0 code will no longer work.

To set your own combination, please follow these steps:

1) With the lock in the 0-0-0 position.

2) Press down the reset button with a pen or other tool until you hear a "click" sound.

3) Set your own combination by turning the dials. For example, 8-8-8.

4) Push the button in the direction of the arrow until you hear the "click" sound again, confirming that you have set your personal combination..

To set another combination please repeat the steps above.

Please remember your combination - if you forget it, there is no way to open your lock besides purchasing a TSA Lock Key online.
