Return Policy

More Travel. Less Fees. That’s our motto — and helping you avoid costly baggage fees is our mission.

We created what we believe is the perfect personal item suitcase (at least in our minds 😉), and we want you to experience it for yourself. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, you may return or exchange unused items purchased through takeoffluggage.com within 30 days of delivery.

Please Note:

We can only accept returns on unused items, so we recommend testing your suitcase at home before traveling with it.

Here’s how to try it out:

  • Test your suitcase indoors to see how much you can fit inside, how easily the wheels remove, and how smoothly it rolls.
  • Try packing 3–5 days’ worth of clothing (a typical trip length) to ensure it’s the right fit for your travel needs.
  • Keep the combination lock set to 0-0-0 until you’re certain you’d like to keep your suitcase.
  • Hold on to the original packaging — it’s required if you decide to return your order.

Exchanges

Want a different color or model? Simply return your original item following the instructions below, and place a new order for the one you want. Return shipping costs apply. You may exchange unused items purchased through takeoffluggage.com within 30 days of delivery.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your suitcase arrives damaged, we’ll take care of it. Contact support@takeoffluggage.com within 7 days of receiving the item for assistance. Provide photos of the damage for our teams review. 

Shipping Your Items

  • A return label will be provided.
  • Hold on to the original packaging — it’s required to return your items.
  • Keep your receipt and tracking number until your refund is processed.
  • For international returns, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, and taxes unless otherwise noted.

Refund Details

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of receiving your returned item at our warehouse.
  • Return shipping is charged at the carrier’s actual cost and will either be deducted from your refund or charged through our return portal.
  • Original postage fees are non-refundable.
  • Shipping protection is non-refundable.
  • Please reset combination lock to 0-0-0 before returning your item. If we're unable to access the suitcase upon return, we will not be able to issue a refund.
  • Our warehouse team inspects all incoming returns against the original records. Please note: if the physical item received does not match the version on the account, the refund will be denied and the item returned at the owners expense.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items that are damaged, altered, or show signs of use beyond home testing. ((Note: If your item arrived damaged or defective, please contact our support team at support@takeoffluggage.com within 48 hours of delivery).
  • Original postage and shipping protection are non-refundable.
  • Items purchased through clearance or final sale promotions may be non-returnable.
  • Free promotional items (not eligible for return or cash reflection).

Warranty

Our suitcases are covered by a limited 1-year warranty that protects against functional damage to the shell, wheels, handles, zippers, or other components that impair the normal use of the luggage. If a covered issue occurs, we will provide a repair kit or replacement part for the non-functional component.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Cosmetic wear, including scratches, is expected with regular use and is not covered under warranty.

To submit a warranty claim, please visit: TAKE OFF Luggage Warranty Submission or send an email to support@takeoffluggage.com. All warranty claims require proof of purchase (such as an order number or documentation showing the item was purchased from TAKE OFF Luggage), along with clear photos or videos of the issue. Claims submitted without the required information will not be supported.

We recommend contacting us 2–3 weeks prior to travel, as replacement orders are subject to standard processing and shipping times and are dependent on available inventory.

Please note that if an exact replacement is unavailable, we will offer a product of equal value.
